DCH OWNED BY ALEKSANDR YAROSLAVSKYI SIGNED A MEMORANDUM WITH HEWLETT PACKARD ENTERPRISE ON ECOPOLIS HTZ

The basis of the national project Ukrainian Silicon Valley, a high-tech business park Ecopolis HTZ (DCH group of Aleksandr Yaroslavskyi), began cooperation with the global IT giant Hewlett Packard Enterprise.

The corresponding memorandum of cooperation was signed between the management company of the business park and the regional office of Hewlett Packard Enterprise. ‘We very much hope that Hewlett Packard Enterprise with its experience, knowledge, skills, high technologies, equipment will become a reliable partner of Ecopolis HTZ and an essential part of the Ukrainian Silicon Valley,’ CEO of Ecopolis HTZ Management Company, said at the signing ceremony.’

The document signed today assumes cooperation for the development of an industrial and technological park within the framework of the project. Together with Hewlett Packard Enterprise, it is planned to implement projects in the field of IT infrastructure of the business park, the creation of Data centres, joint projects to build high-performance IT systems, and the possibility of implementing collaborative projects will also be considered, including with the city authorities to implement the concept of development of Kharkiv – Smart City. 

‘Really big thank you for this initiative, and we are very glad to sign this Memorandum received as a big road initiative for Ukraine and the region. To enable this road, we need to start partner like corporates’ high-tech zone.

Your strength combined with advanced technologies of Hewlett-Packard enterprise brings huge potential for creating new business,’ highlighted Sasha Kerets, a representative of the Hewlett Packard Enterprise Headquarters for Eastern Europe and Africa, addressing the Kharkiv partners at the signing ceremony.

‘We have found a good partner. We hope that our cooperation will result in successful initiatives and business projects,’ said Andrey Pishchikov, General Director of the Ukrainian Representative Office of Hewlett Packard Enterprise at the ceremony of signing the memorandum.

Earlier, other global high-tech companies have already announced their intention to become residents of the Ukrainian Silicon Valley and the Ecopolis HTZ business park, in particular, ZTE corporation, the developer of equipment and solutions in the telecom sphere. Besides, negotiations are underway with other global technology leaders from around the world. The project is supported by leading international consultants, and the investment and industrial company Tus-Holdings, which manages dozens of similar business ecosystems and production and research platforms, will take part in its development.

As it is known, the national project to create a Ukrainian Silicon Valley in Kharkiv was initiated by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi. Its basis was the business park of high technologies Ecopolis HTZ of the DCH group owned by Aleksander Yaroslavskyi.

The businessman became the general investor and project coordinator as it was during the preparation of Kharkiv for EURO 2012. The planned volume of investments in the development of the Ukrainian Silicon Valley in Kharkiv will amount to $1 billion over the next decade. A powerful industrial park, a technological park (IT and R&D directions), logistics, agricultural and technological, medical, and other clusters will be created here. The project is one of the priorities of the Kharkiv Development Strategy and is being implemented with the support of local authorities.
